1) Our hire period is normally 3 days, although we are happy to agree collection and delivery dates that are mutually acceptable.

2) We kindly ask for a 50% deposit as confirmation of your order and ask that the final balance be paid 30 days prior to your event.

3) A deposit of £150 will be required and will be refunded once the hire order has been checked for breakages, shortages or damage. Any charges will be deducted from your deposit.

4) Unfortunately accidents happen and our charges are as follows.

  • £10.00 per china item
  • £20.00 per tea pot
  • £35.00 per cake stand
  • £20.00 per camera
  • £50.00 per radio

5) Unfortunately no discrepancies or faults will be accepted unless notified within 24 hours of Delivery.

6) We understand plans change however cancellations will be 100% of hire costs if cancelled within this 14 day period or 25% of hire costs if cancelled within a 30 day period. If you break an item please keep it so My Vintage Crockery can identify and replace it.

A wash up service is available if you prefer to put your feet up after your party this service is charged at 10% of the total hire charge.

If you are to wash up yourself, please note the items are HAND WASH only due to the age and delicacy.

We are happy to for you to collect or we can deliver. We deliver usually up to two days before your event. We are happy to deliver within the Merseyside area free of charge.

When the goods are delivered to the customer, the customer shall inspect the goods and sign My Vintage Crockery’s delivery note. In the event of any shortage or damage, the customer shall note this on the delivery note at the time of collection or delivery. If the customer fails to do this, the goods will be deemed to have been collected/delivered in a clean and undamaged condition.

If there is no one available to check the items, again the items will be deemed to have been collected/ delivered in a clean and undamaged condition.

When My Vintage Crockery collects the crockery, it should be properly packed as found. If My Vintage Crockery feels the crockery is not safe for transit and has to re-pack the crockery, this will incur additional charges. This will be charged at 10% of the total cost of hire.
